END OF AN ERA

It all started in 1989. Mayor Daley celebrated his victory speech on April 4th. in 1989 he threw his first white sox`s pitching April 15. In 1991 the Daley family returned home to their 6 years old daughter Elizabeth. Daley accomplished a legacy. Millennium Park was build. He wanted to improve Chicago Public Schools and make OHARE bigger. On Tuesday mayor Daley announce that he has been thinking about retirement for the past 6 months. His good-bye creates a city where racial and ethnic considerations are never very far beneath the surface. Nobody loved Chicago more then Mayor Daley. He helped build Chicago`s image as a world class city, and leaves a legacy of progress that will be appreciated for generations.
In conclusion Mayor Daley did a great job dealing with this big city. He was a great leader and gives other people the opportunity to have jobs, education and keeps the city clean. He works hard. He did again a great job.
